Adventures in Homeschooling- Letters F and E

The kids have thoroughly enjoyed the swingset lately, even in our winter weather (even though it is April).  Thank goodness for hats and scarves!  We are hoping to see Spring weather soon!

We are still working through our Raising Rockstars Preschool program and having lots of fun!

Little Buddy is getting pretty big for Little Miss to hold!

Heartwarming moment right there!

Did not like being put down- but the reason I took this picture is to have a keepsake of my all-time favorite outfit of his on one of the last days he could wear it (He's laying on the beautiful quilt Grandma made for him too)  Growing so fast!

This Easter I finally decided Joelle was old enough to color some eggs and actually enjoy it.  We colored 12 eggs and had our own little egg hunt in the back yard after Easter.  On Easter, we already had two egg hunts (one at church and one with the cousins) so we saved our "real" eggs for our own little hunt.

My Easter Kids!

I found so much for our unit on the Letter F that we focused on it for two weeks.  I had many fun crafts for the girls to do, and found a very large pile of F books to read.  We had a fun time!

Playing with the Farm felt set!

Little Miss wanted me to take a picture of her and her brother by their bears!

Here is a glimpse of a few of our crafts for the letter F.  We made a handprint fish, we covered an F with foil, we made a footprint page, we covered an F with fingerprints, and made a farm scene with stickers.  F turned out to be an easy letter to find craft ideas for.

Isn't this baby boy so cute!  He is now sitting up well on his own and loving playtime- especially when he can watch his sister!

We also did some fingerpainting for the letter F.  This was a treat, as I don't like to do such messy stuff very often.  The girls loved this!

This is what Little Man does a lot of the time while we are doing preschool:

Sissy holding Bubby, and enjoying it!

Baby boy happy in his high chair.  He eats lots of home-made baby food now!  His favorites so far are bananas, avocado, and sweet potato.

Little Miss working hard on her Elephant, for the letter E.

Here are two of my favorite crafts that we did for the letter E:

We are keeping busy and having fun!  Planning to continue with our preschool program, though the summer may include more crafts and more outdoor time than anything else.  The kids live to play outside it seems!  Looking forward to lots of sunny days ahead!
